Kristen Stewart is the new face of Balenciaga
The 'Twilight' actress will front new fragrance campaign
Stewart is starring in the ads for Balenciaga's latest perfume, Florabotanica.
The actress was chosen by the Spanish fashion house's creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, who became smitten with the 22 year old when he first saw her in the 2002's film 'Panic Room', starring Jodie Foster.
'I remember thinking' said Ghesquière to fashion webite WWD 'Wow, I would like to do something with her one day. She’s so Balenciaga.'
In the ads, Stewart wears a yellow Balenciaga structured dress and looks straight at the camera, making the most of her cool edginess.
'When I first stood there' the actress said 'I was like, "OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?" And they were like, "Just be comfortable"'.
Whilst most of us have to make do with chocolates and flowers, these stars are getting swept off their feet in some of the most over the top and lavish ways possible. But is does spending the big bucks really guarantee a happy ending?
