Lily Allen took to Twitter to air her frustration with the NHS after a midwife failed to show up to assess her new baby's health.
Allen, who gave birth to daughter Marnie Rose last Tuesday, was unhappy with the service she received as she was made to wait 'all day'.
'After speaking to the Brent midwifery team at 7 this morning, I was told to stay in all day and someone would be over to weigh my baby and do a jaundice assessment.
'I know it's not the midwives themselves' fault, they are generally angels but surely we can do better than this,' wrote the star.
The Smile singer went on to hint that she thinks the incident may have been caused by government cuts to the health service.
'It may be worth mentioning that when I was discharged from hospital with my last baby, 14 months ago the midwives were there 3 hours later.'
Lily Allen had her first child Ethel with her husband Sam Cooper in 2011.
