The "Black Swan"actress offered first part since birth of son
Natalie Portman was in talks to star in her first film since becoming a mum for the first time, but her spokesperson has confirmed that actress has turned the role down.
The star, who won a Leading Actress Academy Award this year for her portrayal of ballet dancer Nina Sayers in Black Swan, was offered the leading role in movie Adaline, the story of a woman who can't age and becomes immortal.
Portman has taken some time off acting to start a family with her French dancer fiancé Benjamin Millepied this year.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Alef, in June.
