A fan has paid $80,000 to meet Robert Pattinson on the set of his new film 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'.
The British actor is famed for playing brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the successful franchise - based on the books written by Stephenie Meyer - and is lusted after by teenage girls around the globe.
Now one dedicated fan has surprised Robert and the website CharityBuzz.com by pledging tens of thousands of dollars to meet the handsome 24-year-old, who is dating his co-star Kristen Stewart.
The website ran an auction for the prize of meeting Robert, with the money raised going to the GO Campaign, which supports orphans and neglected children around the world.
“The winner will travel to Vancouver where they'll be hosted at the Four Seasons along with three companions,” it's been reported, “Then, they'll travel by limo to the 'Breaking Dawn' set, where they'll have a meet and greet with Rob, who portrays hunky vampire Edward Cullen in the hit series.”
