Russell Brand denied entry to Canada
Russell Brand's been forced to cancel a show in Canada after being denied entry to the country.
Katy Perry's husband was due to perform a gig for 5,000 people at Casino Rama in Orillia that night, but was stopped by customs officials.
Brand told the story and kept his fans up to date via Twitter "Help! I'm gonna be late for Casino Rama show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia!... How do you manipulate customs officials? I must perform at Casino Rama, Orillia tonight at 9 for 5000 Canadians!"
A few hours later he had to accept the show would not go-ahead, "Tonight's Casino Rama show postponed. I'm sorry. I can't enter Canada. We must abolish the borders between our nations and our minds."
Brand was deported from Japan in May because of his previous drug convictions.
The flamboyant presenter might be looking a little less fabulous than unusual when the show reaches our screens.
