Katy Perry's parents have finally accepted her hubby into the family.
The singer's mum, Mary Hudson, initially implied that Russell needed help on a biblical scale: "Only God can take the very worst person and turn them around for good."
But Katy says she's pleased things have finally sorted themselves out.
"It's good my family and my parents have finally let go of the leash, Katy said.
And the singer's dad Keith has given Russ the seal of approval saying he's glad to call him family.
"I could not have wished for a better son-in-law. He makes my girl so happy. She's so happy and he makes her light up. They're going to be just fine."
