Spooky goings-on have disrupted the host's new show.
Who ya gonna call? Well, if you need help handling a ghost, it’s probably best not to rely on Rylan.
The host of This Morning and Big Brother’s Big On The Side’s new 5Star show Celebrity Ghost Haunting launched last night. But during filming for an upcoming episode yesterday, the presenter gained a rather scary new fan.
The show – which involves celebrities including Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear hosting a séance – was shooting on Rylan’s home turf in Essex. But production was thrown into chaos when high tech ghost activity recording equipment detected a disembodied voice saying Rylan’s name.
Understandably, this completely freaked out the former X Factor contestant. He ended up shouting “f*** off” and fleeing from the filming.
A source close to the show told The Sun: “He has been left terrified by what they've seen. A make-up artist and two medical staff have already quit the production over it, and Rylan is genuinely terrified after some audio monitoring equipment began saying his name.”
Blimey. And Rylan thought that some of the audience on BBOTS could be alarming! Perhaps he could contact recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate, Derek Acorah? We’re sure that the Most Haunted legend would have some hints on how to handle visitors from the other side.

Love Island’s Chris Hughes, Celebs Go Dating’s Charlotte Dawson and The Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Ampika Pickston also took part in last night’s launch show.
Psychic Ian Lawman and his pair of paranormal investigators spend the night in one of the UK’s most haunted buildings.
In the recording at Harwich Redoubt Fort, a ghost hunter asks a room “is there anyone in the room that wants to talk to me?” with an unknown voice replying “I am”.
The spirit is then asked “What’s my name?” to which it says “Chris”.
Then, in the incident that appears to have caused the fuss, it is then asked “What’s your name?” – with the voice answering “Rylan”.
