I Gotta Feeling Black Eyed Peas
Find out what happened to the cast of the hit 1982 sci-fi film directed by Steven Spielberg.
We all wanted an alien as a best friend after watching Henry Thomas play Elliot in the 1982 film and we'll never forget the scene where they rode their bike across the moon. Can you believe Henry was just 11-years-old? Picture: Rex
After playing the role of lonely 10-year-old Elliott in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, Henry, now aged 43, returned to his hometown of Texas, where he focused on school, and took on a string of film roles every now and again, notably 'Gangs of New York' and 'Dear John'. He is married and has a daughter named Hazel.
Melting our hearts with her dow eyes and pouty smile, a six-year-old Drew Barrymore impressed in her role as Elliot's pigtailed little sister. We just love the part where she dresses E.T up in a blonde wig. Picture: Rex
Who doesn't love Drew Barrymore? Now aged 40, she is happily married to Will Koperman and they have two children together. Most importantly she has starred in some our favourite films including 'Charlie's Angels' and 'Never Been Kissed'.
Robert MacNaughton was so impressive in his role as Elliot's older brother Michael that his acting skills even earned him a Young Artist Award in 1982 as Best Young Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. The star, who was only 16-years-old at the time, was bit of a teen heart throb. Picture: Rex
After 'E.T The Extra Terrestrial' Robert went on star in numerous theatre shows, but he eventually quit acting in 2002. Since then he's lead a normal life quitting the bright lights to become a mail carrier in Arizona and New Jersey where he currently lives with wife Bianca, his son, Noah and 3 stepsons.
You might remember Peter Coyote as Key the mysterious scientist/government agent who had been waiting to meet an extra terrestrial since a little boy. Picture: Getty
It's safe to say that Peter has been on a spiritual journey since starring in E.T. The 70-year-old actor has been a practitioner of American Zen Buddhism and later became an ordained lay priest in Zen, the Japanese tradition. He has also appeared in over 120 films, including 'Erin Brockovich' in 2000.
There was something so warm about single mother Mary played by Dee Wallace. The loveable actress was 33 years-old when the film was released. Picture: Rex
Dee Wallace has became a household name in the 70s and 80s garnering cult icon status in the horror flick genre, with roles in 'The Howling in 1981, and 'Cujo' in 1983 before starring in 2007 horror flick 'Halloween'. Outside of acting the 63-year-old actress is a motivational public speaker and a self-help author.
