See how Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams and Duran Duran have changed performing style...and looks!
Despite the girl band going through several initial line-up changes, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce and Michelle Williams are generally recognised as the core members of the famous pop group.
The three songstresses reunite for a one off performance of 'Say Yes' during the 30th Annual Stellar Awards in Las Vegas. All three band members have on to produce solo music since the group disbanded. Picture: Getty
At the beginning of his career, both with N'Sync and solo, Justin Timberlake was all about 'street', baggy clothes on stage. However, with age (and more money) came style and JT's stage persona is now much classier...click on the next picture to see just how classy!
Justin Timberlake is all about style these days. Gone are the baggy trousers, in are the sharp suits. He even plays his own instruments live these days.
Kylie Minogue was all about cute casual outfits and big hair when she started out in the late 80s. She was the typical girl next door: fun, sweet, pretty and nonthreatening with plenty of bubbly pop tunes.
These days Kylie is all about theatrics and sexiness onstage, however she's always classy, never gratuitous or vulgar. Her latest tours have seen her recreating French cabarets live and even Greek mythology. Picture: iTunes
Madonna was all about breaking the rules, shocking and dancing onstage. Three decades and four kids later haven't really changed the star....
Madonna may be nearly 60, but age certainly hasn't slowed her down. Skimpy outfits? Check! Dance routines? Check! The occasional controversial moment? Check!
Robbie Williams was all about dancing, dungarees and baggy clothes at the beginning of his career with Take That. Well, let's not forget that he was still a teenager then!
Robbie Williams is now one of the most successful British solo male musicians of all times and both his stage persona and style have changed. The dad of two loves to wear well-cut suits and he's more into 'lounge' style performances these days, rather than high energy dance routines.
Bright, colourful outfits, baggy trousers, peroxide blonde hair and dark brown lipstick was Stefani's signature style with No Doubt.
Not much has changed! Gwen Stefani still loves her colourful outfits, still has the peroxide blonde hair, but she's somehow become classier and has swapped that very 90s shade of lippy for her signature one: bright red.
Elton John was all about disco outfits, towering glitter boots and huge glasses...basically the bigger and the louder the better! His songs too were uplifting and danceable. Pure pop! Picture: PA
Elton John is now a married dad of two and while he still loves performing, his style is a little tamer. He still loves a colourful suit, but these days it's more Versace than Pam Hogg. Even his music is a little tamer with more ballads and slower numbers. Picture: PA
Duran Duran have always been hugely into style and fashion. They really embodied the 80s with white, red and electric blue blazers, leather trousers, fingerless gloves and bleached hair, often cut in a mullet or feathered style!
Gone are the peroxide feathered hair and the shoulder pads, but the band haven't changed that much from their earlier days. They are still huge fashion fans but they've updated their look and it's more Saville Row suits than leather outfits these days. Oh and John Taylor is still exactly as hot as he used to be!
Just like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet truly embraced the 80s: the hair, the open shirts, the leather jackets... The band was a little bit more sophisticated than Duran Duran, but just like their main onstage competitors, they fully made the shoulder pad look theirs.
It's all beautifully-cut suits for Spandau Ballet these days and thankfully the mullets and open shirts have gone.
