It was a star-studded night at the Pride Of Britain awards 2017.

The Pride of Britain awards 2017 took place last night, and told many amazing tales of unsung heroes.

We welled up at the bravery of some, and marvelled at the determination of others, including 'Daredevil Dylis', an 85 year old grandmother who had completed over 1,100 skydives for charity.

Whilst fans waited out in the cold to get a glimpse of the celebrities in attendance, famous faces turned up in their hundreds and dazzled on the red carpet outside London's Grosvenor House.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby cut a picture of elegance in a beautifully flattering lilac gown, which showed off her trim figure. Before her red carpet appearance, the mum of three posted a picture on her Instagram highlighting that she was ready for one of her "favourite nights of the year".

Myleene Klass lived up to her surname as she looked elegantly regal in royal blue.

Tom Fletcher looked sharp in a bold suit and matching glasses, whilst wife Giovanna looked dazzling in a black sequin gown.

Candice Brown, winner of last year's Great British Bake Off and rumoured Dancing On Ice 2017 competitor bore her trademark bright lipstick, teamed with a figure hugging velvet gown and glitzy accessories.

Peter Andre and wife Emily MacDonagh teamed up in matching black and white for a sophisticated look.

Other celebs in attendance included Strictly star Alexandra Burke, TV personality Amanda Holden and Carol Vorderman.

A unexpectedly tear-jerking moment was when Sir Rod Stewart reduced an award winner to tears, as he generously offered to donate an incredible £10,000 towards her business. Katie Young won the Prince’s Trust Young Achiever, and runs a beauty salon dedicated to providing a safe place for victims of domestic violence.

We are still in awe of all the inspirational stories from the awards, and the incredible courage that so many people have had to put into action - congratulations to all the winners.
