Viola Davis: I’m an ‘outsider’

Viola Davis has reportedly admitted she felt like an ‘outsider’ amidst all the glamorous celebrities at the Golden Globes.

The actress has raked in the plaudits for her performance in the award-winning film adaptation of The Help. Nevertheless, she found it surreal to be surrounded by stars like Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams.

‘I am definitely enjoying it, but I still see myself as an outsider. But it is wonderful to be part of this,’ she reportedly revealed

Actress Olivia Spencer won the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in The Help at yesterday’s ceremony.
