Grammys winners 2010

Beyonce is the 'Queen of the Grammys' after winning six awards in LA.

Beyonce was up for 10 Grammys and won song of the year for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) - the same track also picked up best R&B song. Beyonce now has a total of 16 Grammys and set a record for the most won in single year by a solo female performer.

Taylor Swift pushed Beyonce close with four awards including album of the year.

Other multiple winners included The Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z and Kings of Leon (3 each), and Lady GaGa and Eminem (2 each).

In a surprise result the Kings of Leon won record of the year for their song 'Use Somebody'

Performance of the night came from Lady Gaga and Elton John

The event also paid tribute to Michael Jackson. His children accepted a lifetime achievement award on his behalf after a 3D tribute from Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Celine Dion. They sang along to a recording of Jackson's Earth Song.
