A-List Total Recall
Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel join the cast for the remake of Total Recall.
The trio will also be joined by Irish actor Colin Farrell, who has already been cast in the role of Douglas Quaid, previously the role of former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1990 original.
Nighy will be cast as Quatto, the resistance leader that was played in the premiere version by Marshall Bell.
Beckinsale will play the role of Quaid's wife Lori - originally portrayed by the equally glamorous Sharon Stone - while Biel is set to play second female lead Melina.
The original film was based on the short story 'We Can Remember It For You Wholesale' by cult writer Philip K Dick.
Set in 2084, it tells the story of a construction worker who takes a virtual vacation to Mars, which in turn leads to a series of harrowing events that lead him to visit the planet for real.
The film is due to begin shooting in Toronto next week and will be released in cinemas on August 22 2012. It's set to be directed by Kate Beckinsale's filmmaker husband Len Wiseman.
