One of the Westlife bandmates won't be making a comeback.
Brian McFadden may have said in the past that he’d “never say no to a Westlife reunion” but it looks like Louis Walsh has come forward and said no FOR him.
Confirming the band’s reunion, Louis told the Sun: “Brian won’t be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally.
“The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife.”
Then when asked if he would change his mind if Brian himself asked to join, the band’s manager added: “No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people.
“They all know each other, they all respect each other.
“Three of them live in the same town in Sligo, so it makes more sense.”
Bandmates Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan are set for a long awaited reunion tour, with Louis adding: “There is a huge demand for it to happen and I’m talking to all the boys.
“They are going to decide when it takes place.” He went on to say: “I’m looking after Shane, I’m talking to Mark all the time, I’m talking to Kian and talking to all of them — I’m really good friends with all of them.”
Amid looking after his friends, Louis has also taken up a new career in acting. The X factor judge is now starring in a new stage show,Nativity The Musical. He explained: “I’m playing a Hollywood producer with an Irish accent, so I’m basically just playing me.
“And I’ve only got ten lines.”
The show which is being held at the London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith runs from now until Sunday.
Elsewhere, Brian McFadden is currently on tour with Boyzone’s Keith Duffy under the name ‘Boyzlife’. The pair will play 11 dates across the UK this month, performing selection of Boyzone and Westlife classics!
