It's been nominated for a Golden Globe and even made the shortlist for Best Song at the Oscars, but the James Bond theme tune reportedly only took Adele ten minutes to record
The Rolling in the Deep singer was originally approached by music producer Paul Epworth to sing the title track on the newest Bond film, Skyfall.
"Within 10 minutes, she had put down most of the vocals. She had the lyrics ready in her head when she drove over" Epworth told Hollywood.com "She's fast, but it was really quite phenomenal".
Epworth praised Adele's vocal talent during the recording session, referencing her "Shirley Bassey-esque" skill and amazing "control".
The soulful vocalist is on a seemingly unstoppable course at the moment. The new mother has just scooped three awards at the Billboard Magazine Awards, including Top Billboard Album for "21", Top Female Artist and Top Artist.
Adele's phenomenal achievement saw her become the only act ever to be named Top Artist and Top Album Artist two years in a row at the Awards.
