Disney Reveals All Upcoming Films For The Next FOUR Years


Here's what we've got to look forward to from Disney for the next four years! There's sequels to the Incredibles , Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland but classic remakes such as Beauty and the Beast and the BFG is getting a revamp too. 

Here's what we've got to look forward to from Disney for the next four years, their release dates and trailers (if they're out yet!).

The Good Dinosaur

The Pixar film will see dinosaurs and humans living together in harmony. Aaw how very Disney. 

UK release: 25th November 2015

Star Wars: The Force Awakens 


UK Release: 18th December 2015

The Finest Hours

Based on a true story, this film is about a brave rescue attempt after two oil tanks are destroyed off the coast of Cape Cod in 1952. It will star Chris Pine.

UK release: 26th March 2016


An animated fox is forced to go on the run after being balmed for a crime he didn't commit. He will be voiced by Jason Bateman. 

UK release: 6th May 2016

Captain America: Civil War

This film will follow on from the Avengers, featuring on the same superheroes and will see a huge fight between Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Tony Stark (Iron Man).

The Jungle Book

Based on the book by Rudyard Kipling, this retelling of the classic tale will be a live-action CGI film starring Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Lupita Wyong'o and Scarlett Johansson.

Alice Through The Looking Glass

This film follows on from Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland in 2010. Alice must return to Wonderland to save her good friend the Mad Hatter. In true Tim Burton style, it looks epically bonkers.

Finding Dory

We've been waiting for this one for some time now! Following on from Finding Nemo , Dory is back and this time she's on a journey to find answers from her past.

This Roald Dahl's classic will be getting a long-anticipated re-make. 

UK release: 1st July 2016 

Pete's Dragon

This 1977 film will be re-made with a modern twist as it follows the relationship of a young orphan with a dragon. It will star Bryce Dallas Howard.

UK release: 12th August 2016

Doctor Strange

Benedict Cumberbatch is welcomed to the Disney family as he stars as a failed surgeon in this film. The surgeon is given another chance after a sorcerer teaches him to fight evil.

Introducing another Disney Princess! This film is about a young teen who sets out on a journey to find an island in the South Pacific, where she's joined by a Demi God (Dwayne Johnson) who helps her on her travels. 

UK release: 23rd November 2016

Beauty and the Beast 

This retelling of the classic story will star Emma Watson as Belle. It will also feature Stanley Tucci and Ewan McGregor. Unfortunately though we've got a while to wait for this one! 

UK release: 17th March 2017

Guardian of the Galaxy Volume 2

This will be a sequel to the first film and it's rumoured that Chris Pratt might be coming back. 

UK release: 5th May 2017


Disney haven't let on much about this film other than it will be a sequel.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Jack Sparrow is back and has to face a ghost ship led by his old nemesis. Even bigger news is that it looks like Orlando Bloom might be making a return!

There's not a lot that's being said about this film but apparently it's inspired by the Mexican celebration, Day of the Dead. 

UK released: 22nd November 2017


This will be a new spin on Jack and the Beanstalk. Jack ventures into the sky where he befriends an 11-year-old girl named Imma. 

UK release: 9th March 2018

Toy Story 4

This has got fans EXTREMELY excited. The fourth film in the franchise will be about a love story between Woody and Bo Peep.

UK release: 15th June 2018

The Incredibles 

All we know is that it's a sequel to the first one but not much else! 

UK release: 21st June 2019

Star Wars: Episode IX

We're not sure about this yet - we're still looking forward to the Episode X!
