Will Atenton (Daniel Craig) gives up his job in Manhattan to start a new life as a writer in leafy New England with his wife Libby (Rachel Weisz) and their two daughters. But after strange things start to happen, they learn that a young mother and her two children were murdered in their lovely rural home.
Local gossip suggests that the surviving father was responsible. But could he return to kill again? With the help of neighbour Ann Patterson (Naomi Watts), who knew the affected family, Will starts to piece together the mystery. But this takes him to some disturbing places, where nothing is what it seems.
From Jim Sheridan, director of the Oscar-nominated 'My Left Foot' and 'In the Name of the Father', this is a spine-tingling chiller with an A-list cast.
