Luke Evans Takes To The Studio For 'Beauty And The Beast'
'The Hobbit' actor joined Josh Gad to record their songs as Gaston and Lumiere for Disney's upcoming film...

Luke Evans and Josh Gad have set about recording their songs for Disney's new live-action remake of 'Beauty And The Beast'.
Posting behind-the-scenes snaps to Instagram, the 'Fast & Furious 6' actor said: "@joshgad and I recording! My what a guy!!! That's Gastoooooooooooooon!!!! #beautyandthebeast".
The pair will be playing the vain Gaston and his side kick Lumiere and the caption would seem to imply that they are recording Gaston's main song from the original 1991 film.
Sharing a final sneak peek with fans, Luke Evans also posted the below picture saying: "One more pic from my two days pretending I was a recording artist..... #mywhataguy #beautyandthebeast #gaston".
Directed by Bill Condon and also starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, 'Beauty And The Beast' will be hitting cinemas in 2017.

Ewan McGregor will be joining the cast of Disney's live-action 'Beauty And The Beast' according to 'The Hollywood Reporter'. It looks like those 'Moulin Rouge!' singing lessons paid off!
The 'Trainspotting' star is to play Lumiere, a suave maitre d’ who is turned into a candelabra by the curse.
He will be joining an all-star cast including Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast/Prince, Luke Evans as villain Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou (Gaston’s sidekick), Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and Kevin Kline as Belle's father, Maurice.
Tony award-winning actress, Audra McDonald is also tipped to play Garderobe; a lady-in-waiting who is turned into a wardrobe.
Lumiere is one of the main characters in the fairytale story and we can't wait to see Ewan McGregor take on 'Be Our Guest'...

The first picture of the 'Beauty and the Beast' line-up has been revealed, as actor Josh Gad posted a cute selfie of the cast onto Instagram.
Leading lady Emma Watson, who will be playing Belle is seen grinning from ear to ear alongside The Beast, Dan Stevens and Luke Evans who will be starring as Gaston. Kevin Klien, who will be playing Belle's father is also see in the snap. Cute!

Award-winning actor Ian McKellen has joined the cast of Disney's live-action version of 'Beauty And The Beast' as Cogsworth the clock.
In the 1991 Disney animation Cogsworth was the Beast’s loyal butler who was transformed into a clock after the curse took over the castle.
Best known for playing Gandalf in the 'Lord of the Rings' movies, he will be joining Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad and Emma Thompson.
'Beauty and the Beast' is hitting cinemas on 17th March 2017 and will be directed by 'Twilight''s Bill Condon.

Oscar-winning actress, Emma Thompson has joined the cast of Disney's live-action reboot as Mrs. Potts, and the film's release date has been confirmed for 17th March 2017.
'Last Vegas''s Kevin Kline has also been announced as a cast member and will be taking on the role of Belle's father, Maurice.
Production is set to begin in May at Shepperton Studios in London.

It's official! Dan Stevens is set to take on the role of the Beast/Prince in Disney's live action 'Beauty and the Beast', with Luke Evans playing Gaston.
Once the news was confirmed, Emma Watson, who's taking the lead role as Belle, took to Twitter to congratulate her new co-stars.
Looks like it's going to be an all-British cast!

With Emma Watson signed on to play Belle in Disney's live action remake of 'Beauty and the Beast', there was only one question fans were asking themselves. Who would be playing the Beast?
Well, it looks like Dan Stevens will be taking on the larger than life role.
'The Hollywood Reporter' confirmed that the 'Downton Abbey' star was in talks to play the Prince, which led to him posting a 'BEAST MODE' picture to Twitter, apparently self-confirming the part.
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' director, Bill Condon will be helming the project, while Luke Evans, who recently starred in 'The Hobbit' trilogy, will be bringing the vain Gaston to life.
While the studio hasn't yet confirmed whether the film will be a musical, we're already getting ready for the sing-a-long edition.

Disney have confirmed that the 24-year-old English actress will be Belle in the film directed by Bill Condon, the man behind 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 and 2'.
Emma Watson herself couldn't contain her excitement at being offered the role, taking to Facebook to share the news with her fans:
"I'm finally able to tell you … that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast!" she wrote "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There.' My six year old self is on the ceiling — heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it".
The animated version of 'Beauty and The Beast' was released in 1991 and has proved hugely popular with audiences, grossing almost $425,000,000 worldwide.
