In the time-honoured 'Final Destination' tradition, the latest episode begins with a group of young people who manage to cheat death - or so they think! A timely premonition lets the youthful friends escape a gruesome mangling when a suspension bridge collapses in spectacular-but-lethal style.
But as 'Final Destination' fans already know, Death doesn't like to be cheated! Indeed, the fiendishly imaginative Grim Reaper comes after the escapees with ever-more macabre ways of polishing them off. And this is definitely not a movie for the squeamish, as acupuncture needles and laser eye surgery are given terrifyingly gory new uses.
With the exception of 'Final Destination 3' each one of the 'Final Destination' films has been more successful than the previous one. And now the fifth film has all the makings of the most popular date with death so far!
