Cheryl pulls out of Help For Heroes gig

Cheryl needs to take time off to fully recover from malaria

Cheryl Cole has had to turn down an appearance at the Help For Heroes charity gig on September 12th because doctors are insisting she takes three months off from singing.

Cheryl is said to be disappointed by not being able to perform, but will instead help raising money for Help For Heroes, a charity, that supports injured soldiers and their families.

Confirmed acts include Robbie Williams, Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and Plan B.

Cole is currently in Los Angeles recovering from malaria. She contracted the disease on holiday in Tanzania with her American dancer friend Derek Hough.
