Cheryl still loves ex-husband Ashley Cole and hopes they will be able to be friends
During a candid interview with Piers Morgan, Cheryl has openly talked about her love for ex-husband Ashley Cole and her fear she'd die of malaria.
Cole has admitted she still doesn't know what went wrong in her marriage to the footballer, but hopes they'll be able to be friends in the future.
The Girls Aloud's singer also spoke of her fear of dying when she contracted malaria on a holiday in Tanzania with dancer friend Derek Hough.
Cole broke down during the TV chat, recounting how the doctors only gave her 24 hours to live. She was so scared, she said, she wrote her will from her hospital bed.
The interview was broadcasted on ITV on October 23 2010.
