Military Wives Christmas Single

The choir is getting ready to release their new album ahead of the festive period...but could they bag the top spot in the charts?

The Military Wives are gearing up to take on the Christmas charts this year with their 2016 single AND a festive album.

Over 65 choirs and 1000 singers from all over the world have taken part in recording their title song 'Home For Christmas' as well as six carols for the album.

The  songs are traditional classics revamped to include lyrics that reflect what the holiday period means to families in the military community.

Last year the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir bagged the coveted top spot in the Christmas charts, but can the Military Wives do the same this year?

They're no strangers to hobnobbing with musical a-listers after they performed Gary Barlow's song 'Sing' for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Pretty goose-bump worthy stuff!

But they'll be up against some stiff competition including whoever wins this year's X Factor.

Their album Home For Christmas will be released on 25th November and the titular single will go on sale on the 2nd December.
