Amy Winehouse's unheard album to be released

An album of unheard material from Amy Winehouse will be released shortly.

The 12-song collection titled Lioness: Hidden Treasures features previously unreleased tracks, alternative versions of existing classics as well as a couple of brand new Amy Winehouse compositions.

It's has been compiled by long-time musical partners Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi in close association with Amy’s family, management and record label Island Records.

The plan is to help raise money for The Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up by Amy's dad after she passed away, which will help youngsters who have problems with drugs.

The album is due for release in December.
