BAFTA honour Ben Stiller

BAFTA, Los Angeles are to recognise Ben Stiller for his comedy work.

The star will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy at a ceremony to be held on Wednesday, November 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Among Stiller's credits are the Meet the Fockers, Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch and Something About Mary.

Stiller's next film is the action comedy "Tower Heist," co-starring Eddie Murphy.

The BAFTA event will also feature the presentation of the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year to Helena Bonham Carter.
