'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' was the best-selling DVD of 2011.
The epic conclusion to the highest-grossing film franchise of all time has also become the best-selling DVD of 2011.
Christmas sales were up more than 8% year on year to almost £500m, compared to the same period in 2010.
However, overall sales of DVDs dropped almost 5% to £1.75bn as consumers begin to turn towards downloads, renting and streaming film content.
British films dominated the overall chart, with the 'Deathly Hallows films taking the top two spots, followed by The Inbetweeners Movie and The King's Speech.
