James Corden says Adele cracked up when he recreated her famous pose on the cover of her album '21'.
Corden said: "I sent Adele the pictures from this shoot. She cracked up. She thought they were great. To become her, if only for a moment, was an honour."
He added: "I love Adele so much. I find what she’s achieved and keeps achieving an inspiration to any young singer-songwriter out there. I met her on her first-ever TV performance on T4. You could just tell then how huge she was going to be. She’s exceptional. It makes me excited about presenting the BRITs next year, knowing that the biggest-selling female artist in the world is going to be there. And she’s part of our little island. She’s just taken over the world."
James, who has just released his autobiography May I Have Your Attention, Please?, said he didn’t feel bad about writing about his 'relationship' with Lily Allen. He told heat: “I didn’t feel bad for writing about her. Because, literally, all I was writing was that nothing happened.”
He added: “I’ve no idea what I was thinking! I think the more time she spent with me, the less she fancied me! I fancied her so much that I turned into this kid who went, “Yeah, sure, whatever you want, Lily.””
Asked if he’s still friends with Lily, James revealed: “Not really. I sent her a message when she got married, saying good luck. Her bloke, Sam, is really, really lovely.”
