Kate's wedding dress set to make £8m
Record numbers flock to Buckingham Palace to see Kate Middleton's gown.
Mind blowing numbers of people have visited the exhibition to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous £250,000 Royal Wedding dress.
Over 354,000 people have flocked in to see the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress and it's expected final ticket sales will reach £8million.
A spokesperson for the Royal Collection said: "This year has been our highest to date. The wedding dress has proved very popular."
Entry to the palace is up a fifth from last year and proceeds will go towards William and Kate's wedding charity fund, which already tops £1million, as well as maintenance and upkeep of palaces and residents of the Royal Collections.
Adults have been paying as much as £17.50 - and children under 17, £10 to get a close-up view of Kate's intricate silk gown, with other items of interest including the 1,000 diamond-encrusted Cartier Halo that the Queen lent to Kate.
The exhibition is open until the 3rd October when the final figures will be released.
