Tears at 30,000 feet
Films being played on Virgin Atlantic flights are going to start coming with "weep warnings".
The move by Sir Richard Branson's airline apparently follows a recent survey which showed that 55 per cent of passengers said their emotions became heightened during a flight.
The movies Water With Elephants and Just Go With It will be the first to carry the signs.
As many as 41 per cent of men polled said they hid under blankets to hide their tears, while women said they were most likely to pretend they had something in their eye.
It found that people from the West Midlands are the most likely to shed a tear, while those from Gloucester are the least likely to get emotional, Virgin said.
The results of the survey suggests that the films that made Virgin passengers cry the most were Toy Story 3, The Blind Side and Eat Pray Love.
