Would You Spend 24 Hours With Your Ex? New Show Has Shocking Results
One Night With My Ex - First look | Channel 5
Each couple are given 24 hours in an apartment to ask each other questions in order to dig up some home truths about why their relationship failed.
When it comes to our ex's, it's safe to say that most of us have washed our hands with them and want nothing to do with them.
However, a brand new series is forcing former couples to spend the night together in a bid to smooth over any unresolved issues.
Each couple are given 24 hours in an apartment to ask each other questions prepared by producers, in order to dig up some home truths about why their relationship failed.
Weirdly, not all the episodes have ended in tears and tantrums.
It's now been revealed one of the couples ended up getting ENGAGED on the Channel 5 show.
Emma Harvey, 31, and Matt Hill, 28, agreed to appear on One Night With My Ex – after splitting two months earlier over a row about a toilet seat. Turns out that the love was still there - despite what was clearly a traumatic argument!
Psychology student Emma told The Sun: "He started saying ‘You know I love you and I want to be with you’ and I put him off his flow by saying ‘I know Matt, but it’s not enough.'
"But then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
"I paused, because I was in shock, and it felt like about 10 minutes before I said yes. I was really excited. I never expected it."
Emma met dad-of-two Matt in December 2015 and they began dating two months later, but six weeks in, Emma received a Facebook message from another girl saying she was also dating Matt and she called it off.
After a failed attempt at reuniting just before Christmas last, Emma decided it might be the time to give their relationship another go after spotting the advert for the TV show.
It's a good thing they did, as the couple plan on tying the knot next month!
