TV talent shows like the X-Factor stand accused of glamorising bullying.
The claim's been made by the president of the Girls' School Association.
Dr Helen Wright says the programmes are not only banal and mind-numbing - they're also amoral.
An X Factor spokeswoman said: "The X Factor continues to be one of the most popular entertainment shows in the UK.
"The production is based on a team ethos - everyone works together in a positive environment and we have a zero tolerance policy towards bullying."
