Should we rebrand 2017 as 'The Spoiler Era'?!
We live in a day and age where spoilers are literally everywhere.
It's a risky business watching programmes on catch-up, and often relies on the extreme will-power of a self-induced temporary social media ban to stay blissfully in the dark.
And even then, it can only take a loose-lipped colleague to let slip a couple of spoilers. Is your eye twitching just thinking about it?
If you're a Strictly fan, you may want to avoid a website by the name of 'The Strictly Spoiler'.
This is run by superfan Dave Thorpe, who enlists the help of 'live audience moles' to find out which couple has been voted off during Saturday's filming - and then posts about it online ahead of the pre-recorded results show on Sunday evenings.
Despite being warned numerous times to stop with the spoilers, the website still averages around 350,000 hits a day, so clearly there's a large demand for it!
Thorpe has promised to "never" stop with 'The Strictly Spoiler' and has said that if there's an issue with it, then: "there is something very simple they can do to stop it - broadcast the results live."
He's got a point, we guess...?!
Eastenders Star Davood Ghadami with partner Nadiya Bychkova.
With the 2017 series already off the ground, it's going to be a busy few weeks for Dave Thorpe and his moles! Last week, JLS star Aston Merrygold had a great first week as he danced his way to the top of the leaderboard with partner Janette Manrara.
Other celebrities on the show this year are This Morning's Ruth Langsford, Eastenders Star David Ghadami and pop star Alexandra Burke.
The 2017 series will air its second live show this Saturday on BBC1 at 6.45pm, and the first celebrity to leave the competition will be announced on the results show at 7.15pm on Sunday. This week's performance comes from the brilliant Emeli Sandé.
