Ali is a talent manager who was also Dec’s manager for over a decade before they got together.
The couple tied the knot in August 2015 in Dec’s home town of Newcastle. His co-host and BFF Ant McPartlin, 41, was best man (obviously), and 200 guests watched them take their vows, including Tess Daly and Marvin and Rochelle Humes.
Dec’s first love was actress Clare Buckfield who starred in the sitcom 2point4 Children. He was in an 11-year-relationship with his childhood sweetheart before they separated in 2003.
He was then linked to former Pussycat Doll and I’m A Celebrity contestant Ashley Roberts and dated Sky Sports presenter Georgie Thompson for two years before splitting in 2011.
Once he was in a relationship with Ali they moved in together and announced their engagement in 2014. (Dec proposed on a beach in Australia).
The couple often enjoy double dates with Ant and his wife Lisa Armstrong.
Meanwhile, Ant is reportedly planning to leave rehab in around a month to fly to Australia to film I’m A Celebrity just six weeks later. The star is currently addressing his addiction issues to alcohol and prescription drugs.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “He is doing really well. It has been a tough few weeks but he is coming through it and is now over the worst of it. Ant has been very brave and is totally committed to his recovery…”
The source continued: “With his commitment and new-found strength, those close to him believe he will be back on TV in November. It’s something he is working towards and focusing on.”
We wish him well.
