Beyonce's husband Jay-Z is reportedly joining Prince and Lady Gaga to write the musical score for Baz Luhrmann's forthcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
The Bullitt's Jeymes Samuel took to Twitter to claim that he is working with rapper Jay-Z on the music for the film version of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel.
'Jay-Z and myself have been working tirelessly on the score for the upcoming #CLASSIC The Great Gatsby!,' he wrote on December 30th.
Adelaide Clemens, who portrays Catherine in the film, suggested that other big names will score the film in a press junket for Silent Hill 3D: Revelation.
'[Some] pretty huge artists have approached Baz and are writing songs for the film, and I don't think Warner Bros. are going to turn down Prince and Lady Gaga knocking down your door.'
The Great Gatsby, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, will hit cinemas on May 17th.
