Today marks start of the ONE MONTH count down to the release of a four brand new Gilmore Girls episodes.
You heard us correctly, the three generations of Gilmore Girls will be back in our lives after the powers that be over at Netflix decided to sign up the show for a short run of new episodes after a nine year hiatus.

So far we've been teased with a short clip of Lorelei and Rory sorting through the mail round the table, we've been taunted with the fact that all of Rory's ex boyfriends are in it and that's not to mention all of the behind-the-scenes pictures.
Now, we've been treated to a full-length trailer for the new episodes and it is EVERYTHING. Please keep your squealing down...
All of the original cast are back playing the kooky characters of Stars Hollow, including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Yanic Truesdale, Sean Gunn and even Hollywood A-lister Melissa McCarthy.

If truth be told, the trailer doesn't give too much away, only that Rory is back from campaigning for Barack Obama (yes, that was the storyline and what are the chances that his presidency is up at EXACTLY the same time there's a Gilmore Girls comeback?) but she's not sure whether she's going to stick around.
It looks like much of the new series will focus on how Loralei's mother Emily is coping with the loss of her husband, Richard, played by Edward Herrmann. Sadly, Edward passed away in 2014 and his death has been written in to the show.
It looks funny, full of banter and the girls are never far from drama!

According to the Rumour Mill:
This time around, could we be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet as the rumour mill has gone into overdrive that Rory or Lorelai could be PREGNANT! While there is no confirmation yet as to whether there will be a mini-me running around the Gilmore household just yet, the storyline isn't out of reach.
From what we remember Lorelai and Luke were still together and what became of Rory and her love life?
All four parts of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premiere Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.
