Ed Westwick as Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl
Ed Westwick has said: “I am very excited to be stepping into the world of White Gold. It’s brilliantly crafted and very unique, a special piece. I'm sure a great road lies ahead"
Joining the boys is Our Girl's Linzey Cocker (she played Georgie Lane's sister Marie) and Lauren O'Rourke from the TV comedy show, Drifters.
What is it about?
Set in Essex in 1983, it revolves around a group of double glazing salesmen lead by the charismatic Vicent (Westwick).
The BBC says: “Smart, handsome and cocksure, Vincent will happily break the rules if it guarantees a sale. It’s a story of dodgy shenanigans, scams and petty rivalries".
When is it on?
The show wrapped filming last year after shooting in Essex during the autumn and as BBC2 have dropped a teaser trailer already, we reckon it will be on it's way onto our screens soon.
It's predicted to land in May, so keep your eyes peeled!
The 'Someone Like You' singer announced the sad news in a handwritten letter to her fans at the Wembley Stadium shows this week.
