The Platt Family Look Unrecognisable In Corrie Throwback Snap!
8 December 2017, 10:35
They've changed so much!
Throwback Thursday has become a 21st century wonder.
Digging out a suitably cringe-but-not-too-awful throwback takes a lot of time and dedication - and it's always a fun thing to see on other people's timelines too.
And Corrie star Tina O'Brien thought she'd get involved, with a hilarious throwback from 14 years ago.
#tbt #2003 A behind the scenes picture taken on Polaroid of a young @jackpshepherd88 Helen Worth and Me. We are all wrapped up in foil In the back of an ambulance. Although very happy we are trying to warm back up after being dunked in the beyond freezing (dirty) Manchester canal in January in the middle of the night #richardhilman car stunt #Iloveyou #behindthescenes
The Polaroid pic shows a young Corrie trio made up of her, Jack P. Shepherd and Helen Worth - aka Sarah-Louise, David and Gail Platt - and revealed that it was a behind the scenes snap from the dramatic car chase the characters survived over a decade ago.
The actress ends the Insta post with the hashtag #Iloveyou - it's good to see that the family bond slightly better off-screen than they do on!
Tina has been playing troubled soul Sarah Platt for 18 years, since she took over from child star Lynsay King who portrayed the character right from birth.
I feel so proud to be involved with a #photoshoot for #coronationstreet talking about being an actress. I can honestly say we are constantly given equal position with our male colleagues. Coronation street has a history of headstrong, independent, funny, ballsy women as their leading characters. Feel honoured to be working on such a wonderful show
The countdown to the Corrie Christmas Day episode is on, and we will bet our pigs in blankets that there's going to be some serious drama going down in Weatherfield - after all, it wouldn't be Christmas without something explosive happening!
Corrie continues tonight on ITV1 from 7.30pm.
