Janet Jackson has spoken for the first time about her pregnancy in a brand new photoshoot with People Magazine.
The 49-year-old star, who is expecting her first child with Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, alluded to the fact she was planning to start a family back in April when she cancelled her tour under orders from doctors.
In a new photoshoot with People Magazine Janet is seen showing off her baby bump which has ballooned in size.
Speaking on the impeding birth of her child she said: "We thank God for our blessing".
Janet wed her Qatari billionaire hubby back in 2012 and it's thought they are excited about their new addition to their family.
People magazine quoted a source close to the Jackson family as saying: "She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well. She actually feels very good about everything."
The singer has reassured fans that she will return to her Unbreakable World Tour in 2017.
Janet reassured any disgruntled fans by announcing the news on her Instagram account.
The singer opened up to fans about their plans in a short Twitter video back in April.

"Please, if you can, try to understand that it's important that I do this now,” she tells fans in the clip. "I have to rest up — doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you."
The songstress reassures her audience that she will continue her world tour as soon as she possibly can and thanks their for their unwavering dedication.
