Burnham-on-Sea: Woman Dies After Collision

A woman has died following a collision in Burnham-on-Sea last week.

The incident occurred at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, January 14, on Berrow Road when the driver of a Nissan 350X and a pedestrian collided. 

The pedestrian, a woman aged 85, was knocked to the ground and was taken to Frenchay Hospital. Despite receiving medical treatment she died on Sunday morning.

The circumstances of the collision are being investigated and police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. If you can help please contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
