Jury out in care home murder trial

44 year old Rachel Baker denies killing 2 pensioners at the Parkfields Care Home in Butliegh near Glastonbury

The jury has now retired to consider its verdict. She's accused of murdering two residents with lethal overdoses of drugs.

Baker from Glastonbury has denied killing Lucy Cox, 97, and Frances Hay, 85 in November 2006 but does admit 10 counts of possessing class A and C drugs, and one of perverting the course of justice.

She also denies alternative counts of attempted murder and manslaughter relating to Mrs Hay and a count of manslaughter relating to Mrs Cox.
