£15k Gypsy Caravan Stolen

Police are appealing for information after a ‘Romany Gypsy’ type horse drawn wooden caravan was stolen from a workshop near Stockbridge on Saturday December the 4th.

The workshop on Forest Extra Farm in Up Somborne was broken into between 9am and 11.30am and the caravan was taken from inside.

The caravan was uniquely painted and had recently been renovated. It is thought to be worth around £15,000.

PC John Viney, from the Andover Rural Safer Neighbourhoods team, said:

“Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area that morning or anyone who may have any information about a caravan like this to come forward and speak to us.”

Anyone with any information should contact PC John Viney at Stockbridge police station on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
