£75,000 Car Stolen From Driveway

Thieves have stolen a £75,000 car from a driveway in Southampton, after taking the owner's keys.

The white Mercedes C63 AMG saloon was taken from outside a house in Balmoral Way, Rownhams at around 1.15am on Wednesday 10th October.

The family were asleep at the time. The front door of house was opened during the night, and the car keys taken from a table near to
front door, then the car was taken from the driveway.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:

"Although this is a rare occurance, we would always advise people not to leave house or car keys near to entry or exit points of the home.

"If anyone has information about the theft of this car or saw it being driven away from the area, we would ask them to contact Eastleigh District Investigation Team."
