9-Year-Old's Ice Cream Sells In Sainsburys

A nine-year-old boy from Ringwood in the New Forest has won a national Sainsbury’s competition to invent his own ice-cream flavour in time for Halloween.

Christopher George won the ‘I-Scream’ competition, and his own ice-cream creation is now being sold in 350 stores nationwide.

Christopher’s creepy flavour, Toxic Swamp is made up of cool mint flavoured ‘toxic sludge’ dairy ice cream, with swirls of strawberry ‘zombie goo’ and white chocolate ‘crunchy broken bones’.

His creation's been brought to life by the supermarket’s expert dairy farmers and ice-cream makers and will be available to buy in stores, including his local Ringwood superstore, throughout the Halloween season.
