Appeal Over Hit And Run
Police are looking for the driver of a car who left a man seriously injured near Southampton.
Officers say the 34-year-old was knocked over on Jacobs Gutter Lane at Rushington, Totton at approximately 11.15pm on Saturday May 11th, and the car failed to stop. The man suffered serious head injuries.
Police say the car was a "hatch-back type vehicle", and it drove off towards the A326. They're appealing for the driver to come forward.
Officers are also asking anyone who saw what happened or anyone with information to contact Totton Roads Policing Unit quoting Operation Pre-pay - simply saying "Please someone must know something, make the call."
