Biker Dies 3 Weeks After Hampshire Crash

A man has died in hospital three weeks after he was involved in a motorbike crash in West Meon.

71-year-old Roger Farley from Linden Lea, Fareham died at Southampton General Hospital yesterday morning.

The collision happened on the A32 at the junction with Filmore Lane at West Meon Hut at approximately 9.45am on May 25th.

Mr Farley, who was riding a beige Honda ST1100L touring motorcycle, lost control of his vehicle and was thrown from it into the road.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he died at 3am on Thursday June 13th.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw any other vehicles near the scene at that time, to call PC Nicola Houghton of Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Scriptural.
