Police say the death of a man found floating in a harbour on Monday is not suspicious.
The body was found in Ryde Harbour on the Isle of Wight and officers are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to establish how he died.
Hampshire Police said: ''Police can confirm they are investigating the discovery of a man's body found in Ryde Harbour this afternoon at 12.23pm.
''The man has not yet been formally identified and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.''
Later officers added:
"Following the discovery of a man's body found floating in the water in Ryde Harbour by a member of the public this afternoon police can confirm they are not treating the death as suspicious.
They are in the process of tracing next of kin."
The busy road's being made two lanes in both directions between Segensworth and Titchfield - it's due to take 18 months.
