Missing Leanne Turnbull's Body Found

Hampshire Constabulary now believe that a body of a woman found in an area of farmland near Neatham is that of missing woman Leanne Turnbull.

The formal identification procedure is yet to take place, but officers are satisfied that it is Leanne. Her family and partner have been informed.

Leanne went missing from Alton on September 14. The 34-year-old had not been seen since.

Officers were called to farmland near Neatham, which is on the outskirts of Alton, shortly after 3pm on October the 12th after members of an organised pheasant shoot discovered the body.

The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file is now being prepared for the coroner.

Leanne’s family and partner have thanked members of the public for all their help and support.
