Couple Bound And Gagged By Burglars

Detectives in Eastleigh are investigating a burglary at a couple's home in Wellow Drove, Wellow.

The couple in their 70s were watching television in their bedroom at around 9.30pm on Thursday, November 22, when they heard two loud bangs.

Soon after, three people dressed in dark clothing and masks came into their bedroom.

They bound and gagged the couple before searching their home.

Hampshire police said:

"This was a traumatic experience for the couple and detectives are keen to identify the offenders and are appealing for witness or anyone with information.

"Anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 10.30pm who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact Eastleigh District Investigation Team on 101 quoting Operation Randall."
