Digger Worth £16k Stolen In Hampshire

Thieves have stolen a digger worth £16,000 from a hire company in Chandlers Ford.

Police say they removed the Takeuchi TB014 mini excavation digger, grey and red in colour, from a site in Sutherlands Court at 6:30am on Friday 10th May, by loading it onto the back of a white van. It belonged to a hire company.

Officers are looking for two suspects:

- A white male, about 40 years old, 6 feet tall and large build. He had a short dark beard, and was wearing a dark beannie hat and a long sleeved high visibility coat and dark bottoms.

- A white male, about 35 years old, 5'10" tall with a slim build, he had a red face/complexion, and was wearing a light blue beannie hat, a long sleeved high visibility coat and dark bottoms.

Police say if anyone has any knowledge of the theft, or has been offered a digger like that for sale, they should contact Eastleigh police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
