Eight More Charged Over Football Violence

Police in Southampton have now charged eight more people with football related violence that happened around the Southampton v Portsmouth FA Cup game at St Mary’s Stadium on February 13.

Earlier this month officers released another batch of CCTV images of people they wanted to question about football related violence. Six of those people have been identified which has led to five people being charged.
 
Three other people have also been charged. 
 
Those charged are:
 
Maurice Bagley, 46, from Lytham Road, Southampton – charged with a public order offence and criminal damage.*
 
Steve Noyce, 47, from Sedburgh Road, Southampton - charged with affray*
       
Eddie Mattison, 33, from Lower Northam Road, Hedge End, - charged with affray*

Richard Stone, 33. from Masefield Road, Southampton - charged with a public order offence*

Michael Wilson, 21, from Wentworth Gardens, Southampton - charged with violent disorder**

Trevor Collins, 45 from Meggeson Avenue, Southampton  - charged with violent disorder**
 
Peter Smithson, 36, from Adams Close, Hedge End – charged with violent disorder**

Tim Osman, 48, from Cunard Avenue, Southampton - charged violent disorder**

Police are still trying to identify three people from their photos which have been previously released. Officers are asking anyone who knows who they are to contact them. They are asked to call the Operation Austen Team at Southampton Operational Planning on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
