Over 40 firefighters have tackled a large fire at a recycling plant in Poole after plumes of smoke were spotted in the air
It involved 300 tonnes of waste at the site on Kennington Road yesterday afternoon
People living close by had to keep their windows and doors closed
Eight fire engines and a water carrier called to the scene as WS Recycling on Nuffield Industrial Estate.
Although there are no concerns to members of the public, residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed.
